I love watching entrepreneurs grow the businesses that they are passionate about. So when I got the call to tell the story for the Rise of the Rest when they came to Central, PA I was excited to be a part of the team. The Rise of the Rest was designed to help see venture capital released to entrepreneurs outside of Silicon Valley, NYC & Boston. This tour came to Lancaster, York & Harrisburg to meet with local entrepreneurs on location and host a $50,000 pitch contest that showcased talented business leaders. I had the opportunity to document this for the team while traveling with former AOL CEO Steve Case, Author JD Vance & PA Governor Tom Wolf. We spent the day with entrepreneurs and business leaders in York & Lancaster and finished the day watching Case deliver a check for $50k to the winner.
